Why do MOST programs that you download want you to download google toolbar as well? Its annoying?

I know either that or the Yahoo toolbar, thats why I always choose custom install and untick the box next to install toolbar.
Most toolbars contain spyware so I have no toolbars on my Firefox browser, I’ve heard bad things about the Google toolbar recording information on your browsing habits.

because google wants publicity, pay people to do it, and they do it.
you dont have to download it anyways.
just uncheck the mark.

The software company more than likley get money from google for helping them distribute there name/software around.

its pays for you to get that program for free
it’s called advertising get over it just during the installation choose not to install it and you’re golden
