Someone I know just bought Turbotax 2008 and she is trying to download the required updates. Her Norton Antivirus Firewall is not letting her so she went to the settings, configurations and Turbotax is not found in the list of items to click that can be bypassed. According to the Norton webpage she checked, it is supposed to be in that list.

When you get to the Turbotax website, manually disable the Norton until the download is complete. You’ll be on a safe, known site for a minimum amount of time.
